We moored up just before the A38 road bridge and walked to Morrison’s supermarket for some food shopping.
Awaiting Branston lock to empty. We will be spending the weekend moored near the Bridge Inn, Branston, exploring the Branston Country Park. After lunch we took a walk into the village.
There is a tunnel under the main road to get to the village.
There are some useful shops.
Quite a surprisingly large medical centre for the size of the village.
