Hawkesbury Junction to Stoke Golding

This morning we left Hawkesbury at 8:40am. Moored at Stoke Golding on the Ashby canal at 1:10pm, 4hrs 30mins, one lock. /// grace.calculate.overjoyed

Dull start again this morning but the sun almost came out.

Approaching Sutton stop lock and the end of the Oxford canal

On the Coventry canal heading away from Hawkesbury

I really need to do something about my dandruff!

Charity Dock, I like the way Google maps describes it as a 'boat storage facility'

Marston junction and the Ashby canal in sight

Preparing to start the turn into the Ashby canal

Halfway there

Now onto the Ashby canal

Watling Street

Hinckley Wharf

Trinity marina Hinckley

Fibreglass and fire do not mix

Now moored at Stoke Golding on the new moorings which were here last time we were here

After a late lunch we took a walk up into Stoke Golding
