Dull start again this morning bit of slight drizzle, but the sun did come out when we got to Congerstone.

Hawkesbury Junction to Stoke Golding

 This morning we left Hawkesbury at 8:40am. Moored at Stoke Golding on the Ashby canal at 1:10pm, 4hrs 30mins, one lock. /// grace.calculate.overjoyed 

Dull start again this morning but the sun almost came out.

 Today's jobs were to check the oil level in the generator

and clean the water trap

Apart from a short walk to the local shop this morning, chatting to the C&RT volunteers getting local kids to plant plants 🎍 near the lock and build a bug hotel 🐞🐜🕷🕸, and bee keepers showing and chatting about bees 🐝 (yesterday was bee day) been another lazy day today.🥱

Rugby to Hawkesbury Junction

 This morning we left Rugby at 8:05am. Moored at Hawkesbury Junction, at 12:30pm, 4hrs 25mins, no locks. /// hidden.fake.finger

Dull start again this morning but the sun eventually came out and the donkey jacket came off.

We are going to stop here till Monday as it is the 1st time we have ever been able to get a mooring this close to the junction, and the pub! which I have never been in before
