What a different day today to yesterday, blue bits in the sky, and even an orange glowing thing. We moved from our overnight mooring, as the road alongside the canal in Worsley is very busy and noisy. We then set off for a walk around. This is the entrance to the Delph and the Duke of Bridgewater’s mines.
Many of the buildings in Worsley at mock-Tudor.
The entrances to the mines, probably better seen in the winter without the foliage.
The Green.
The fountain on the Green.
The Dry Docks.
Newsagents.
Tea rooms.
We had lunch in the Bridgewater Hotel, and very nice it was too.
Keith.
