A great day weather-wise, warm and sunny.
A cow and her calf drinking from the canal this morning as we set off. Soon after setting off we saw a hot air balloon, but it was too far away to get a decent photo.
Approaching Hardings Wood junction and back onto the Trent & Motorway. We arrived at Harecastle tunnel at 9:05am and entered the tunnel 25 minutes later, and it took 35 minutes, which is our fastest through yet.
Anyone need a door for their car?
Stoke top lock.
First sighting of goslings.
Maintenance work on the towpath at Barlaston. Henry and Jim were busy working the other side of the bridge.
