Dry dock above Town lock, which can take quite bog boats.

Having moored up in front of the Bromley Arms at Fiskerton, and sought their permission to moor on their pontoon, we took a short walk into the village, the nearest of these cottages was the old Post Office.

SAM_1983

The village shop and present Post Office, it was nice and cool inside, great place to work during this heat wave.

SAM_1984

The Bromley Arms as seen from the road, we have a lovely evening meal here, washed down with a cool pint of Old Speckled Hen!
