Sunday Carvery at the Hartley Arms, Wheaton Aston.

We had Sunday lunch at the Hartley Arms, Wheaton Aston today. They do an excellent Sunday Carvery for £5.95. We had the choice of 5 different meats, turkey, chicken, beef, pork and lamb with Yorkshire pudding and stuffing. Then there was a choice of  roast, new and mashed potatoes. As for vegetables, we had the choice from cauliflower cheese, broccoli, carrots, cabbage, peas, green beans, swede and brussel sprouts. We washed this down with a pint of Banks’s Bitter each, and followed it with a pudding each, Jo had the Bramley apple pie with ice cream and I had the toffee sponge with custard.

We sat at the table on the right.
