8.24 miles, 3 locks, 3 hrs 45 mins.
Following a nice weekend moored by the golf course, we set off for Braunston. Approaching Hillmorton is always greeted by the radio aerials. My uncle worked there maintaining the masts, which lead to his being a rock climber and mountaineer.
Approaching Hillmorton locks.
nb Kyle moored just below the bottom lock. Brian on his phone, as usual, lol.
Badsey.
The Old Royal Oak is looking very smart these days.
The conversion of the stable block has now been completed.
Much needed repair work to bridge No.79.
And bridge No.80.
The first sighting of Braunston church is always a welcoming sight for us, and the home waters of the Grand Union.
Keith.
