1.9 miles, 2 hours, 7 locks
We were able to share the Buckby locks with a hire boat, which makes them a lot easier. This new “fortress” has appeared part way down the flight of locks.
The hire boat we were sharing with.
We moored up at Muscott Mill bridge No.18, had lunch then visited the “Heart of the Shires” shopping village.
A new addition to the village is a large antiques shop, we like antiques shops, they had some nice stuff in there, but nothing that caught our eye.
Keith.
