3.9 miles, 1 swingbridge.
We were in no rush to set off this morning, I wanted to let the engine run for a while as it has stood unused for 10 days. We said a few goodbyes to our neighbours for the festival. The festival site is looking very empty this morning, with only some of the funfair to dismantle and the marquees to be taken down.
Just a handful of historic boats are stilled moored at the site.
Snarestone tunnel.
We arrived at the terminus and Hazel on Firefly was taking on water, so once I had winded, reversed back through the swingbridge and moored up, we had a quick chat before she set off.
Keith.
