Platt Lane Bridge No.43 to Ellesmere Junction

We did not move yesterday, and our friends Steve Gray and Carol Fowles came to visit us and had the grand tour of Hadar.

The donkey jacket came off today!! Warm sunny and no wind!!!

Now moored at Ellesmere junction just inside the arm, and have been chatting with Richard and Ruth Chamberlain on Mountbatten and Jellicoe for most of the afternoon, who are moored the other side of the white bridge No.59.

8¼ miles no locks 1 tunnel in 3hrs 5mins. what3words ///visa.breathing.value 😊

Ellesmere tunnel

Temporarily moored just before Ellesmere to go food shopping, we couldn't be sure if there would be any space near the junction

The wharf warehouse at the end of the Ellesmere arm is looking very sad

Food shop at Tesco's at the end of the Ellesmere arm

On our walk back from Tesco's there was a space at the start of the Ellesmere Arm, so we moved down to occupy it, with Mountbatten and Jellicoe moored just before the white bridge

Now moored the other side of the white bridge at the start of the Ellesmere arm

Whilst visiting Richard and Ruth this pair of swans turned up with their sole cygnet
