Samuel Barlow to Tamhorn Farm Bridge

At last things are warming up, with the sun actually doing its job! But sadly we got stuck behind a slow boat who wouldn't pull over, all the way from Fazeley junction to Hopwas where they stopped. When we stopped here they passed us again with 3 boats following, good luck to them! Now moored between Tamhorn farm bridge and Hademore farm bridge and have been sitting out on the towpath enjoying the sunshine, a rare thing for us.

8¼ miles 2 locks in 3hrs 25mins. what3words ///boomers.balancing.fight 😊

In Glascote top lock

Approaching Glascote bottom lock

Aqueduct over the river Tame on its way to Tamworth

Fazeley junction with the Birmingham & Fazeley canal

Jo reckons the mix of tree colours looks like on my railway

At Hopwas, on one side of the canal is the Tame Otter...

And on the other side is the Red Lion

Now moored between Tamhorn farm bridge and Hademore farm bridge.
