A misty start to the morning as we left the mooring at Ingestre.
But it soon lifted as we headed north for Stone, which we soon arrived at. Surprisingly most of the locks were with us this morning. We pulled pass Lime Kiln basin and moored up on the towpath.
The moorings here need dredging, as we are about 1foot out from the bank! We made a quick visit to Rogers yard to see who was around. We had a brief chat with Tina, very brief as she was busy painting a boat. We then had a chat with Joe, and saw how “Pinner” was coming along, she is looking very good with her new footings.
We returned to the boat for lunch and are look forward to a restful weekend here before heading on towards Whaley Bridge.
Keith.
