Jo and I took a walk down the Montgomery canal to Aston top lock, and had a very pleasant walk around the nature reserves on the offside of the locks. We headed for the bottom lock. Oil seed rape field.

Which was being guarded by this new swan family, right next to the path, so we left them in peace.
We headed back to the nature reserve alongside the top lock.
The pools had these very small lily pads, compare with the buttercup in the foreground.
Back to the boat for lunch and the Spanish Grand Prix qualifying.
