We were warned by boats we met at previous locks that Penkridge was chaotic, if 2 boats filling up with water at the water point is chaotic, god help us if it was disastrous!

We came across Glynn & Roe on Aquarius at Brick Kiln lock. A brief hello goodbye was very pleasant in the warn sunshine.

We found a nice shady mooring here at Moat House bridge, great on a sunny day like today. We are now set for an early start through the narrows tomorrow morning.

Keith.
